Testimonial ClassificationsEven though many of the souls studied here took long and unwise detours on the way, they all found eventual success in entering His Rest. In your seeking we encourage you to learn from their mistakes and confusions as well as profit from their hard-won wisdom. They all started as vessels of clay, but were eventually transformed by the power of His grace, first to a state of mixture, and then were supernaturally transformed again. The glorious peace they found is for every soul who will pay the price.
We have made an attempt to classify these experiences with the hope that you will be encouraged to read these life stories critically, and perhaps more easily relate to them in light of your own situation, and therefore gain the maximum benefit. The purpose of this classification system is not to create a broad system of careful comparison, but to merely help us understand.
There is a vast number of souls who deeply crave to move into greater Oneness in Him if only they knew how. It is our observation that each successful soul was within a discernible type of ministry environment when they finally entered into His Rest. Leaders or potential leaders need to diligently observe how these ministry environments directly help or hinder:
Type 1 A hostile environment devoid of ministry influences toward sanctification.
Type 2 A hostile environment with few ministry influences toward sanctification.
Type 3 A benign environment with few ministry helps toward sanctification.
Type 4 A benign environment where actual entire sanctification is taught to some degree.
Type 5 A pro-actively benign environment without dissenters where even the freshly converted are given repeated opportunities to be led relatively quickly into entire sanctification by living exemplars of His Rest.Also the souls found within the environments seen in the actual testimonial documents seem to be either:
A.Simple or youthful souls with their innocence and their innate ability to trust still intact even in the face their deep struggles.
B.Renovated souls that have escaped from much actual bondage (including religious bondage) to be enabled to trust Him for sanctification.
Using this system, we see a lot of Type 1B or Type 2B situations among today's older believers. This type enters in with great labour in the face of life-long resistance on every side. Very few succeed. Groups that can comprehend let alone foster this kind of profound depth have been extremely rare during my lifetime. Indeed, it seems that light that penetrates as far as sanctification has been extremely rare since 1919. O yes, talk and protestations of belief have been plentiful in some circles, but that is different. We are talking about finished results rather than mere good intentions.
If you have ongoing help in your pilgrimage, you are now in a Type 2 or 3 environment, depending how relevant to your consecration that help is. Any who enter in from these environments today have great honour from the Lord for just getting there! A few cutting edge groups today have become pretty good, but groups providing a Type 4 or 5 environment are rare indeed! (I have heard of no type fives.)
Increasingly common are souls from an Charismatic/Pentecostal roots that may be Type 2 or 3, but due to their lack of understanding and experience with this costly dimension, fill their followers with a high presumption hostile to His Rest. How do you fill a cup that thinks it is already full? Not only that but they continually ask for more of His Spirit instead of following the entry directions clearly laid out in scripture. So they fail to qualify for more. Their blind leaders have driven them into a box-canyon of frustration since His Rest is not just more anointing at all. But more of His Spirit is easily obtained within His Rest.... for a further price.....
Leaders
The sooner you apply the enclosed wisdom to create the ideal environment to support those hungry souls who would seek after His Rest, the sooner you will come to the place where you will routinely see souls enter His Rest. Types 5A and B are the fastest to gain entry within and souls possibly gain the most visibly productive outcomes since much strong confirmation and great spiritual wealth is at their fingertips to mobilize.
Please notice that now that you have begun to read material on this website your personal environmental classification has just been improved regardless of what you do with it. You now at least know where to get more light on the subject as you are ready for it!
If you have the special blessing of being part of a spiritually healthy church or home group, you are probably in a Type 3 environment. But if your group seriously takes this material to heart, and teaches it, your group has just provided a more productive (but still difficult) Type 4 environment. When you and a few souls around you enter His Rest and teach others to do likewise your group now provides the astoundingly fertile Type 5 environment which will continue to grow even more effective with experience.
When this happens I cannot tell you what will happen next, for (if you are Charismatic or Pentecostal) you will have on your hands a group that is empowered by not just two of the foundational experiences as our precious heritage souls have, but.... (See God's Plan of Reconciliation in the Door section) This would be approaching a charismatic Type 6 environment endued with His stable Presence and great spiritual authority.
